The Firm of Barry C. Galvin & Son LLP was established in 1889 and since that date the Firm has been involved in general practice specialising in property law, banking law, commercial law, litigation and debt recovery.

The Firm originally acted for Munster and Leinster Bank and acted in the amalgamation of the three Banks that merged and formed the AIB Group.  The Firm was also involved in the drafting and enacting of the enabling statutes in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

The Firm’s staff balances a mixture of senior and experienced personnel with a number of recently qualified and trainee Solicitors with an up-to-date knowledge of the law ensuring expertise and experience across all areas of legal practice. The Firm has established a strong reputation amongst Financial Institutions, private and corporate clients and the legal profession, in general, as being highly efficient, effective and practical in relation to the provision of quality legal advice and services.
